Psoas Pulse – Balance from the Deep

Psoas Pulse is a body-oriented method I developed myself. It combines insights from Western anatomy and principles of TCM (Eastern medicine). During a session, I work with rhythmic movements, gentle pulses, and stretches that engage the entire body, with special attention to the psoas, a deep-seated muscle that plays a key role in posture, movement, and tension.

You remain fully clothed during the treatment and lie comfortably on the treatment table. Through subtle pulses, stretches, and light traction, the body enters a rhythm that stimulates its self-healing capacity. The psoas and surrounding structures are given space to relax and release.

What does Psoas Pulse do?

Psoas Pulse helps to:

  • achieve deep physical and mental relaxation;
  • increase the body’s freedom of movement;
  • regulate and calm the nervous system;
  • release tension or stored stress.

The method doesn’t rely on muscle strength, but on rhythm, attention, and attunement. This often makes it feel light and gentle, while also having a profound effect.

Who is Psoas Pulse suitable for?

Psoas Pulse is suitable for anyone who wants to experience more relaxation, flexibility, and peace in their body. It can be particularly helpful for:

  • stress, tension, or overexertion;
  • a feeling of restlessness or fatigue;
  • stiffness or pain in the lower back, pelvis, or hips.

About my vision

During my practice, I saw time and time again how deeply tension can settle in the body—often without us realizing it. This is especially true in the psoas, a deep-seated muscle that works closely with breathing, posture, and our sense of safety. When this muscle is under prolonged tension, it can affect both the body and the nervous system.

I wanted to find a way to help people release that tension in a safe, natural way. Drawing on my background and knowledge of the human body, particularly the psoas muscle and meridians, I developed Psoas Pulse: a method that combines the best of both worlds—Western knowledge of anatomy and Eastern perspectives on energy and balance.

My approach is gentle, rhythmic, and attuned. Not to force, but to invite the body to relax and recover. This allows the system to regain its natural balance.
